Reflection

Proverbs, poems, and prayers are of the people: expressions of the soul. Words mingled - with purpose - to speak. Tangled up with rhythm - the rhythm of the rain - and tears- the rhythm of the Earth and the heart. Moving out of silence into that that is heard - into action. Like light lit in darkness, in these forms, we find magic. Language, in its most condensed forms, figurative and lean, incites the senses. Heart-centered and full of power, these literary forms are potent. With missions of moving mountains and manifesting miracles jammed packed with the hope of helping - comforting here and redirecting -, swollen with the the energy of life, distilled and essential: proverbs, poems, and prayers.
