Proverbs 5: Seek and Find

Chapter 5 begins with the advice to pay attention to wisdom and to listen to words of insight. So very important in this time when headlines and reports are so grim. The way to keep our lights bright in this dark time is to focus on what is green and good in this world. Today - be mindful of your thoughts. Practice observing where you put your focus and aim to focus on that that you know to be good and healthy. It may help to place reminders around the house - things that will encourage positivity: vase of bright flowers, a card with the words, smile beautiful!

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
— Matthew 6:19–21

Your heart rests on your focused attention.

Attention

The law of concentration states that whatever you dwell upon grows. The more you think about something, the more it becomes part of your reality.
