Stillness: Study 27

“At the deepest level, an 'open heart' is spacious presence, in which the sense of separateness between yourself and the 'other' dissolves and there is the recognition of oneness, of shared consciousness. That recognition is love. Sensing the formless essence in another and recognizing it as one with your own essence - that's what love is. All this is an intrinsic part of the awakened consciousness and the revelation of the spiritual dimension of life.”

~ Eckhart Tolle

I am love, joy, hope; I am one with all.

I settle into a comfortable place and close my eyes. I notice my breath: the inhale and the exhale. I notice my heart beating. On each exhale, I let go. On the inhale, I welcome. In the place of space that I have created, I am simply there existing - my heart, in tune with a cosmic chorus of celebration—a light. As love, joy, hope, I am one with all.

Making a Connection Through Art Journaling

I am posting this short video showing you how I cultivate stillness through art and nature. Enjoy!

A person experiences life as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of consciousness. Our task must be to free ourselves from this self-imposed prison, and through compassion, to find the reality of Oneness.
— Albert Einstein
