Transcript for the Meditation

Welcome to this guided meditation for hope and courage. Find a comfortable seat. Adjust yourself for comfort, and begin to become aware of your breath. Breathe in deeply. And breathe out. Breathe in deeply. Breathe out. Release. Inhale. Exhale. Close your eyes and begin to scan over your body. Notice how you feel. Become aware of any area where you hold tension. Breathe oxygen into that area. Breathe in, breathe out, release any blocks of stagnation. Open to circulation, release.

Breathing in deeply again, lift your hands to the sky. Breathe out and release, bringing your hands to your heart. Again breathe in and lift your hands, breathe out, lower them to your heart. Once more breathe in and lift your hands high reaching, reaching. Breathe out, release, place palms together and then lower to your heart. Now place your hands over your heart and pay attention to the beating. Breath in. Breathe out. Relax.

At the root of courage, there is the heart. Breathe in - courage. Breathe out. Release any fear - Breathe in - pause. Breathe out - release. Again, Breathe in, courage. Breathe out any fear. Release. Listen to your heart. Trust.

Now begin to think of the word hope. Breathe in the sense of hope. Breathe out. Breathe in, welcoming hope. Breathe out, release all doubt. Notice how you feel. Relax. Rest in the knowing that you are secure. You have all the hope you need. You are filled will great courage - all the courage you need for any situation. Breathe in; breathe out. Relax. Rest in your awareness.

As we move deeper into this meditation, let us welcome this centering thought:

With hope and courage, I rest; I am secure.

With hope and courage, I rest; I am secure.

With hope and courage, I rest; I am secure.

And now, Silently on your own.

Take a deep inhale through your nose and exhale. Slowly become aware of your surroundings. Open your eyes.

As you go into your day, and your week, and to any events and situations that may require hope and courage, remember your breath and the beating of your heart. Remember all of the hope and courage you have cultivated within and tap into your inner well. Rest in your openess and calm, and awareness. There is no need to struggle. Even in all of your actions, you may rest in your knowing: you are hope; you are courage; you are secure.

All my strength and hope and courage to you as well, peace for now , and remember, stay CHARMED.
