We must strive to be moved by a generosity of spirit that will enable us to outgrow the hatred and conflicts of the past.

A Note and the Transcript for the Guided Meditation:

Note: If you can today, find a safe and quiet woodland trail to walk as we move through this meditation together. Before we begin - Breathe. Become fully present. Put all thoughts about what needs to be done, or should have been accomplished aside. Let go of all worry and stress. Breathe in and out slowly and arrive to this wonderful meditative moment and walk with me for a little while.

Transcript for the Guided Meditation:

As we journey through this life, sometimes we make mistakes. We make choices that affect our lives or the lives of others negatively. And, in others, too, make choices that hurt us or themselves.

To dwell on these, traps us in the past.

Forgiveness is freeing. It is for giving. It frees the soul to love.

As we walk today, let’s cultivate this energy of forgiveness with this centering thought:

I feel; I forgive; I release.

I feel; I forgive; I release.

I feel; I forgive; I release.

And now silently in your mind.

I feel; I forgive; I release.

Questions:

  • What are your ideas on forgiveness?

  • Have you anyone in your life who you can forgive?

  • How do you forgive?

Gratitude:

I am so thankful for my ability to free my soul with forgiveness. I am thankful that I can forgive myself. I am thankful that I can forgive others. I am so very thankful for how free I feel when I forgive.

Blessings
