7 Gratitude

I offer my thanks = to the wildflowers - colorful, and bold, and free ~

Let me drink from the waters where the mountain streams flood; let the smell of wildflowers flow free through my blood; let me sleep in your meadows with the green grassy leaves.
— Bob Dylan, “Let Me Die in My Footsteps”

Wildflowers

I am thankful for wildflowers, bringing color, texture, movement, and shape to my woodland walks. I am thankful that they grow so prolifically in meadows and along the roadsides, tree lines, fence lines, and paths through the year. I am thankful for the ones in the shade of the trees - creating spots of light - I am thankful for the their beauty and also for the potent healing properties that some of them have -
