Thought 22 - The Journey of a Step
Reflection
I love to travel. With the eyes of an adventurer, I see my world anew and anew each day. Each morning, fresh and sparkling, is packed and ready with wondrous joys to discover. I unpack them all. I step, and my reach stretches across the boundaries of time. A ‘thousand miles’ I take in my ‘single step.’ I take initiative; everything falls into place. I begin and at once, my mission is complete. Each step marks a milestone. My task, complete. I am in motion. I move. I flow. And in the flow, I arrive. I am constantly arriving - and I never tire. Like a wave, I crash into my existence. I pull away, only to return. My movement is life —a heart beating.
I make my plans and they unfold—flowers in the light. I dream my dreams, and they expand, creating a life of delight. All that I want to do, and all that I have set up to accomplish, could overwhelm and overshadow my days; however, at my center, I live timelessly. I always have all that I need. I have all the tools. I have all the time. I step into the now. I am complete. I have completed everything. I feel relieved. All stress melts away. Someone said, stress is being here and wanting to be there. I believe. So, I breathe and accept: I am exactly where I need to be. I step, and with all that I am—I am here - absolutely fulfilled.
Centering Thought
I step; I arrive; I am content.
