Reflection:

I love to jump. My rebounder is fabulous. I feel alive when I am rebounding. I am happy when I jump, jump, jump. There are so many benefits to rebounding. I will list a few that I really appreciate.

Rebounding is a fun activity that I enjoy doing.

Rebounding is an exercise that I can do at home year-round on a daily basis. Because it can be kept inside, no matter what the weather or the protocol of the pandemic, my rebounder is ready.

Rebounding is easy on the joints. This is so important to me because I have an old knee injury that has limited my range of action and the activities that I can do normally. Because of the give, I can jump and jog and there is no direct impact on my joints. With the give of the rebounder, I have been able to enjoy these activities again free of stress.

Rebounding is a stress reliever. As I jump, I am in the moment. All stress dissipates.

Rebounding boosts my mood. When I jump, I can’t help but to smile. I feel confident and aware. It is definitely a way that I get me mind and body ready to take on the day.

Rebounding moves my lymphatic system. So, there are two main circulatory systems in the body, the blood and the lymph. The blood circulates with the beating of the heart. With the lymph, however, there is no pump that regulates the flow. The way that this system stays in flow is through our movement. As we move, lymph is moved from node to node, and then is eventually released through the organs of elimination. Rebounding is perfect for this! As I jump, I am helping my body to eliminate wastes from my body!

Over the years, I have created a few rebounding routines. The one I am sharing with you on this YouTube video is the routine that I do most every morning. It incorporates many movement patterns. In this routine, I do 100 squats and 100 jumping jacks along with running, basic jumping, and twisting. I also incorporate energy work that I have learned in practicing qi gong as well as in my study of the chakra system. If you do not have a rebounder at home already, I suggest you get one today — you will love it, I am sure.

Centering Thought:

I move with my body; my body thrives.

Questions:

  • Do you have a rebounder?

  • Do you know what a rebounder is?

  • How good at you at jumping?

Gratitude:

I am so thankful for my rebounder. I am thankful for the joy of jumping. I am thankful for all of the health benefits that jumping on my rebounder gives to me. I am thankful I was able to get a rebounder. I am grateful that rebounding is an exercise that I can do on a daily basis even when the weather keeps me indoors. I am thankful for how fun and beneficial rebounding is.

Blessings
